Portfolio Update: Sold half of Singtel

A short update that I sold 2 lots out of my 4 lots of Singtel this morning at a price of $3.12.

*But it went up to close at $3.15 :(  *

The reason why I sold is I want to average down my original 2 lots, and reduce a little bit of exposure to the market at this stage in the rally. My opinion remains that there could be a correction soon because of

1) Rising Wedge
2) 5 waves down and 3 waves up
3) Technical indicators: MFI

With the profit from this sale, and using the power of creative accounting again, I will put Singtel in my book as $2.89 because of this successful averaging down, and move Singtel to my investing portfolio.

However, if (it may not) Singtel goes to around $3 again, I will load up again. And repeat what I have done to slowly bring down my average price. I have quite a bit of opportunity funds now with this sale... shall look at what I can do with it...

Dividends Basket -- Mainly for dividends
6 lots of SPH @ 3.65
6 lots Capital Commercial Trust @ 0.84
13 lots of CitySpring at 0.51 (7 lots from rights)
2 lots of ST Engg at 2.28
20 lots of Starhill Global Reit at 0.525
10 lots of Starhub at 1.900
26 lots of GRP at 0.20
31 lots of Aztech at 0.23

The total cost here is about $80k and the expected average monthly dividends is about $544.

Investment Basket -- Mainly for capital growth
5 lots of Breadtalk at 0.37
2 lots of Capitaland at 1.64 (averaged down by selling 1 lot at $3.50 before)
2 lots of Singtel at 2.89

The cost price is about $10.9k here, with market now pricing these at about $17.5k now.
The average monthly dividend yield from this portfolio for this year is about $42.50, and adding to the dividends basket, my average monthly dividends would be about $586.

Trading Basket -- Hoping to sell off

(red = freezer stocks to remind myself of my mistakes)
30 lots of Hor Kew at 0.125
20 lots of LC Dev at 0.21
2 lots of Cosco at 2.67
60 lots of Berlian Laju at 0.117
20 lots of China Sky at 0.245
