Aztech Technical Analysis (19th March 2010)

A nice rally by STI today, with penny tech stocks on the bull.

My Aztech has risen to a high of 0.265 today, before coming back to end at 0.255.
To me, I was thinking initially whether to sell Aztech to take a quick profit... In the end, I decided against it for three reasons:

HealthWay Technical Analysis 11th March 2010

Technically..... for Healthway,

MFI did not make an equal or new high, and we had a gravestone doji yesterday confirmed today with a black marubozo... The volume shoot up is also with low volume as compared to the previous meteoric rise from 0.115 to 0.185 post rights.

The chart is as seen:

Breadtalk

Because of the mania in the rise recently, I was considering to sell Breadtalk today, then checked my chart:

It looks like a big bullish flag or pennant formation with a descending triangle in which Breadtalk broke upwards. The pole started on 28th Dec 09, which I didn't draw out.

Because of this bullish technical formation, I have decided to watch the price actions before deciding to sell. Imminent breakout in progress. Kim Eng also mentioned their target price as 86 cents last year.

MacQuarie International Infrastructure Fund Technical Analysis

This post is on analysing Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund (MIIF) technically. For the recent fundamental analysis on this, please click here.

As we can see from the chart, MIIF bounced off the 200 day MA recently, and has hit and bounced down the 50 day MA. If it crosses this 50 MA, it will be very bullish, and likely go all the way to 40 cents, the blue resistance line.

However, %R is rather high and has made a turn. Furthermore, the 50 day MA looks like a formidable wall; it has been hit 3 times recently. There might likely be a correction down to 32~33 cents before going up again; i.e. ding dong back down to 200 day MA plus support line, then go up.

I might just load more around 32~33 cents to average down. Fundamentally good (at least to me) and looks good technically :)

LC Dev Technical Analysis

For the previous one on Starhill Global Reit, we saw an ascending triangle breakout. Btw, I'm still keeping Starhill.

Now, a stock is seeing similar chart pattern.

Let me present to you, LC Dev!

Near support for ascending triangle. The stochastics is up, MACD turning positive soon, RSI at acceptable region and moving up, GMMA showing signs of a compressive break upwards.

The Bollinger band is also closing up, along with the moving average compression analysis (13 MA, 21 MA, 34 MA, 55 MA, where 13, 21, 34 and 55 are fibonacci numbers) is showing signs of a strong compressive breakout too.

21 cents will be a good price to load. Expecting it to reach 23 cents soon, before breaking upwards to reach next resistance at 30 cents.

Starhill Global TA

Starhill Global owns roughly 70% of Wisma Atria and 30% of Ngee Ann City. Not a bad REIT to have, and fundamentally good to me because of it's prime district. However, I'm still a little uncomfortable to hold it at this stage of the rally. The reason I bought it is because of TA.

Note that Starhill broke up of the ascending triangle today. How much it would move, I'm not sure. But I'm starting to liquidate positions and lighten load for certain stocks at the moment, given the stage of bear rally which I believe STI to be in.
